Genuine CraftsAbout
Chosen piece by piece
Genuine Crafts is a small shop in Lebanon for rugs and silk tablecloths. We look at a lot of pieces and keep very few.
How we choose
Every piece passes the same test before it goes on the site: would it look right in a real room, at the size people actually need? A rug can be beautiful and still be wrong for a Beirut living room. If it doesn't pass, it stays off, however fine it is.
That's also why the range is small. We'd rather show you twelve pieces we're sure of than sixty we aren't.
Why the site sends you to WhatsApp
Because that's where the conversation already happens. Sizes, colours, whether a rug will fit under a particular table: almost every question we get is answered in a chat, and it works.
So the site does what a website is good at. It shows the pieces, publishes the sizes and prices, and lets you compare. Then it hands you to the chat, with your order already written out.
